“Unemployment in Reading increased in June to 12.8 percent, while Berks County’s rate also increased, rising to 8 percent, according to statistics provided today by the state Department of Labor and Industry. The seasonally adjusted county jobless rate rose 0.3 percentage points from the 7.7 percent reported in May and dropped 1 percent from June 2010.”
